Christmas bauble:  Box of chocolates

"Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get" is a famous saying. But while some people are still debating whether the saying is true or completely false, whether chocolates always taste good or can sometimes harbour unpleasant surprises, one thing is certain: the box of chocolates for the Christmas tree is not that complicated. Because even if taste is a matter for debate, it cuts a fine figure.

And this is what it looks like: Very simple, rectangular and (how could it be otherwise) shiny in a yellowish gold tone, its cuboid back and narrow edge are designed. In the front: its contents, glistening and glittering as a true contrast programme to the calm casing. Gold glittering contours almost lovingly mark the filigree compartment. Three times six shiny matt champagne-coloured compartments offer space for the filigree delicacies. Four in chocolate brown, three in fruity red, three in vanilla yellow, two in white, three in cream and three in delicate rosé, sometimes decorated with a brown dot like a mocha bean, sometimes with a chocolate snake, then again with whitish glitter as if dusted with sugar.
