Homeland cravings, holiday cravings, sausage cravings - this crispy roast in a crispy roll probably awakens many a wonderful emotion. Whether it's a juicy roast in Thuringia, a classic bratwurst in Bavaria or a fjord cracker in Kiel, this delicacy is a favourite everywhere.
On the Christmas tree in its festive glittery garb, it also appears to be suitable for vegetarians and will elicit many a smile; the very unusual motif is too funny, the appearance among all the more traditional forms of Christmas tree decorations too glamorous. Yet the sausage in its bun is absolutely harmonious. Rusty brown in colour, well done so to speak, and lavishly dabbed with glitter, it shimmers framed by the golden bun. And the mustard? There's mustard too, of course: as a wavy trail on top, also decorated with glitter. Delicious!
