Christmas bauble:  Christmas cucumber, large

The origin of the Christmas gherkin tradition is unclear: was it first introduced in the USA or in Germany at the beginning of the 19th century? In any case, it is always fun to hide the glass vegetable, which looks like a gherkin, in the greenery of the Christmas tree and to honour the proud first discoverer with an extra gift. And with this large version of the Christmas gherkin, even the little ones have a realistic chance of winning the search.

Our tip: How about a cucumber rally for young and old? Simply hide three cucumbers in the Christmas tree. Each in a different size, of course: large for the youngest, normal or medium as a classic and mini for those with a particularly keen eye.
