The Citroen "2CV" once became world-famous as the "Duck". However, passionate car fans were already stretching their necks in the 1980s for the "Charleston" special model, which was initially produced in limited numbers, came in a two-colour 1920s design and delighted its passengers with upholstery covers in a houndstooth pattern.
The latter is not recognisable in the glass version for the Christmas tree - the shiny silver windows are too reflective. Nevertheless, the figurine is otherwise a homage through and through to the model, which is still extremely popular today and which it reproduces extremely beautifully in miniature format. The body shines in dark red and black. Loving details such as the windscreen wipers, headlights, radiator grille and the curved contours on the doors have been applied with a fine silver brushstroke. And the underbody has also been designed in a purist style: a matt silver paint finish also makes the vehicle look good from below without distracting from the actual vehicle.
