If it wasn't so complicated to grow, you could eat it all year round. But precisely because it is such a rare commodity, we love it all the more: asparagus, which makes so many mouths water in spring during the famous asparagus season and can be enjoyed in such marvellous combinations.
As a glass figurine for the Christmas tree, it now presents itself in perhaps its most beautiful form: Whitish matt, with a yellowish champagne colour towards the tips - it shimmers symmetrically, almost perfectly arranged in a thick bunch. A thin, delicately glittered brown ribbon with an artfully curved bow carefully holds the delicious bundle together in the centre. The golden crown for attaching to the branch has been mounted in the centre of the longest asparagus spear, so that the spears are displayed vertically like a lush bouquet of flowers.
