Christmas bauble:  Cuckoo clock

They have long been available in all conceivable sizes, colours and shapes; made of wood, plastic, traditional and modern, plain, simple or brightly coloured: the world-famous cuckoo clock, which has long since found its fans not only in the Black Forest.

Here it is now made of glass as a Christmas tree decoration in a class of its own: delicate, rather classic and decorated with numerous loving details. The famous little house is silver-grey and covered with a brown roof. A wood-coloured door on the back and a Roman dial on the front with the obligatory but closed opening for the eponymous bird. Shimmering green oak leaves, a few ripe acorns and a glistening, reddish-brown squirrel frame the artistic structure. The highlight: the characteristic pendulums are of course a must. For this purpose, glittering pine cone figures have been attached to golden chains on the underside of the little house.
