It is considered the symbol of Paris, stands for romance, high architecture and (at least for us) for the desire to travel to the city of love: the Eiffel Tower. Once constructed by Gustave Eiffel for the World's Fair and built on the banks of the Seine around 130 years ago, it sits enthroned in the middle of Paris, where it still makes hearts of all ages beat faster.
Those who love it buy a small version as a souvenir - and hang it in the Christmas tree like this glittering and sparkling silver glass model. Only the capitals, the feet and the top of the tower have been painted with silver lacquer. The ornate metal struts, on the other hand, were applied using fine glitter lines, which emphasizes the light and airy character of the monument.
