The euro has long been controversial as a currency, but as a coin it is simply beautiful and artistic. It has been passing from hand to hand since 2002 - exciting two-coloured instead of just silvery like the earlier mark. And as collectors are always delighted with special mintings, this one is of course a must: Painted by hand and blown into shape by mouth, the coin here comes as a shiny Christmas tree ornament around 3 cm thick.
The round centre shines in silver, on which the typical embossing can be clearly seen in a matt gold frame: 1 euro. The edge is also lifelike: the surface changes from the characteristic stripes to smooth at regular intervals. Apart from the golden star border, the reverse alone is undecorated and simply shines with a smooth, silver surface without any national embossing, so that the euro coin cannot be assigned to any specific country or minting and is rather universally valid.
