Pure exoticism. There are hardly any better words to describe this truly extraordinary figurine. Because not only the motif itself, two flamingos in the water, but also the whole design or presentation form is simply impressive and unusual.
Mounted on a golden clip, the water, the lake, is presented in a cone shape like a martini glass. A pond, a pond, splendidly glittered blue on the underside. The surface of the water is transparent and streaked with white, sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker, wave-like brushstrokes. Silver glittering arcs and pink reflections symbolise the water movements and reflections of the two elegant birds, whose long, characteristic legs are dipping in the cool water. Both flamingos are carefully pulled out of glass and united in their typical posture, one upright, the other bent over. Particularly artistic: the varied and intricate painting of the head, face and plumage, for which glamorous glitter has also been used again.
