Christmas bauble:  Gingerbread house

Hansel and Gretel would be delighted: this gingerbread house is straight out of a fairy tale. Too pretty to eat? How good that it can survive the years as a tree decoration. The foundation walls of the crispy building shimmer in a delicate beige color. The windows and the large arched entrance door don't even look like something to bite into, but rather quite normal.

But then comes the roof: it has a slightly reddish shimmer and is divided into numerous, irregular individual gingerbread roof tiles, as if covered in white sugar writing. The outer walls also show a wealth of detail. Of course, the large oven is a must. But a pretzel, a peppernut-shaped heart and a large, crooked spruce representing the location in the forest have also been included in the decoration.
