It is somewhat reminiscent of the famous Danish Kransekage, a layer cake that forms a delicious confectionery pyramid with numerous layers of dough rings. However, the gingerbread star tree does not have round but star-shaped tiers to create special Advent and Christmas moments. With an impressive height of 14 cm, the confectioner's dream, lovingly decorated with white, icing-like decorative tendrils, attracts everyone's attention both in the Christmas tree and as a stand-alone piece.
Ten staggered, five-pointed stars have been stacked one on top of the other, from the largest at the bottom to the smallest at the top. In addition to the gingerbread brown, matt colour on the top, every second star was painted green or red as if it were icing. And just like a real Christmas tree, a small, green, vertically positioned cake star is placed at the very top as the crowning Christmas tree topper.
