Christmas bauble:  HB Helles Vollbier

It has long been so much more than just a drink: the beer of the famous Munich Hofbräuhaus, which not only delights the palates of its fans in southern Germany, but has long been a symbol of longing, tradition and culture all over the world. As an ornate accessory for the Christmas tree, it is presented here in a refined, clever and, of course, very classic way: as a Helles Vollbier. Savoury and good.

In a typical, slightly stucco-like, light brown translucent glass bottle with a silver lacquered crown cap on the slightly bulging neck, it looks just like its big, full-bodied role models. Two glued-on paper labels - one large on the front, the other smaller as a partial banderole above it on the neck of the bottle - do the rest. "Hofbräuhaus" and "Helles Vollbier" are printed in large white letters against a blue background. In the light-coloured centre: The typical HB logo with crown under a lavishly decorated Bavarian coat of arms with banner and the inscription "Gegr. 1589." The small print ("Munich beer" and "Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law") was also lovingly printed in miniature lettering, as was the neck band with the coat of arms, crown, HB logo and the "trademark".
