It is extremely hard-working. She flies around the world three times for a jar of honey and without her, agriculture would be more than at a loss. Who are we talking about? The honeybee, of course, which despite its sting, unlike wasps or mosquitoes, has a firm place in our hearts.
No wonder. The little animal that produces the golden sweet not only impresses with its abilities such as communication, organisation and efficiency. It also looks extremely decorative. This Christmas tree figurine has it all: three busy workers in typical brown-yellow colouring with the characteristic stripes on the abdomen and delicately glittered, silvery wings sit on a shiny golden, rectangular piece of honeycomb on the front and two on the back.
Theabsolute highlight: thick, iridescent, transparent beads have been glued to the artwork as if the honey were already oozing or dripping.
