We know it from the summer months as a cute little fellow that pops in from time to time on a leaf or sometimes gets lost and lands unexpectedly on your arm, crawls a little and unfolds first its upper wings, then the wings underneath and takes off again with wonderful slowness - like a helicopter. Nevertheless, the ladybug is also an extremely suitable eye-catcher on the Christmas tree, with its red wings with black dots, not only blending in brilliantly with the fir green of the Christmas tree.
It can also be left hanging on New Year's Eve and act as a lucky charm. This glass ornament is almost iconic, yet with lovely details: the silver-white, matt lacquered underside forms a clear contrast to the small, painted black insect legs. The back is characterized by the same red wings with shiny six dots. A golden yellow collar and a black head also make the ladybug what it is. The glued-on eyes, which consist of genuine Swarovski elements, are particularly ingenious.
