His pose is reminiscent of a figure from the famous Japanese three-monkey motif: his hands are placed on his right and left ears to prevent any bad sounds from reaching them. But even without the symbolism, the little chimpanzee-like chap is a pretty, if not cute, fellow who is happy to make himself at home in the Christmas tree.
His silky fur shimmers in matt, iridescent shades of brown, shining a little brighter on his face, ears and hands. Dark brown button eyes with white outlines make for a droll, extremely likeable facial expression. Silvery glitter dust on the round base on which the little monkey has made itself cosy also creates festive effects.
