Even in the wild, the ostrich is an impressive animal: as the largest bird in the world, it lays eggs that weigh around 1.5kg. Its feathers have been popular as bushy jewellery for centuries and have long adorned many a horse and rider. However, its wings are by no means used for flying. However, its powerful legs with the unusual two toes on the foot make it a formidable runner.
In elegant matt white and black, the ostrich now also attracts admiring glances as a Christmas tree figurine: the elegant animal stretches its long neck with an orange beak upwards in an elegantly glittering manner. The skin-coloured legs stand in the belly-high glitter grass. The absolute highlight: real, glued-on white and black feathers give the rear rump a light, airy curve.
