The plumage is matt silver-white with black tips, the beak shiny golden-yellow and, above all, huge: yes, this can only be one; the pelican. This specimen presents itself as elegant as a swan, its almost symmetrical body appearing almost filigree.
The bright golden skin sac of the famous beak also bulges mysteriously. But no chance - whether it contains a whole shoal of fish, a good load of water or simply a lot of air - the pelican won't give it away and keeps its beak tightly closed.
