A perpetual splash of colour for the tree: this bird doesn't just glow red. It is also a symbol. Fiery red, orange and a little yellow - that's how the splendid plumage of the glass figurine shimmers, which is fixed to the branches with a golden clip. Glittering red stripes on the back and headdress are as glamorous as they are mysterious. The fluffy tail: as with many traditional Christmas tree birds, it has been carefully glued to the glass figurine using colourful real feathers.
A special eye-catcher: two extra-long feathers in orange and yellow add an exotic touch. But which animal is it exactly? The flame design gives it away: clearly the phoenix, which, according to ancient myths, burns at the end of its life in order to rise again from the ashes.
