It is at home in the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic, so it loves cold, frosty temperatures and is therefore perfect for winter decoration. Striking with its colorful patterned, high beak, it is also immediately distinguishable from any penguin or duck.
Carefully painted, this version for the Christmas tree looks almost naturalistic: with shiny black and white plumage and red eyes with a slightly triangular pattern around them. Its beak shines red, gray, orange and yellow in a striking striped design. Only the fine glitter dust, which is usually applied delicately, but lavishly on the orange feet, shows that the bird is probably more of a decorative piece and has not blurred or flown away.
