It is at home in Central and North America. Its bright red plumage enchants countless people - from Belize to Mexico, the USA and Canada. In some American states, it has even been named the state bird. No wonder. The red cardinal is too striking and aesthetic with its conical, orange-coloured beak, striking black face and erectable crest.
It is precisely this splendid appearance that makes this pithy little fellow a popular and perfect Christmas bird. Its festive red colour not only impresses in the snowy wild, but also in the green Christmas tree. Just like this specimen, which looks particularly majestic when fluffed up and decorated with lovely red glitter elements. Fine speckles in black, white and orange lend additional depth to the cardinal red plumage. A fresh green holly branch with golden glitter contours gives the animal a stable and naturalistic hold on its golden clip.
