The team helmet of the Roman legions comes in gleaming gold, splendidly decorated with lavish scrollwork on the cheek flaps and forehead. The crest of the helmet, which is framed by a golden base also decorated with fine ornaments, shines in a festive red colour. And the airy, production-related "cavity" where the legionnaire's head would have been? It was painted in a discreet milky silver matt colour.
