Delicious and maritime for once, please? Voilà, here it is - the mussel platter for Christmas. The seafood dish that not only looks brilliantly fresh, but also conjures up summery breezes on the Christmas tree.
Presented on a reflective, silver serving plate with a glitter rim are eight seductive-looking, open mussel halves, whose black lacquered shells are reminiscent of mussels. The softly curved mussel meat inside shines in a golden brown colour. But that's not all. Irregularly applied green glitter in between suggests a lush bed of lettuce as a healthy base. Two shimmering golden lemon halves, also decorated with glitter, provide a real kick of freshness to crown the seafood platter.
