Admittedly, the pallet surgeonfish looks much more striking and a little different in real life. Nevertheless, this version for hanging on the Christmas tree is extremely artistically crafted and a real eye-catcher.
It shimmers blue (of course) with a yellow tail and hand-applied black stripes and dots. An airbrush technique was used to create a subtle color gradient between the blue and yellow. The dorsal and ventral fins are unusually pointed. Transparent glitter granules provide watery sparkling reflections.
