Some things require a connoisseur's eye when it comes to discovering that certain something. This is also the case with the sweet potato, which has become increasingly popular in the form of chips in recent years. Incidentally, it is only distantly related to its famous sister, the classic potato. It belongs to the bindweed family and also follows its original nature on the Christmas tree:
It is something special, delicious and unusual. Even if it shimmers reddish-brown - almost like the red-skinned Laura - its elongated shape doesn't really have much in common with the typical potato. The Christmas tree figurine presents itself as if it has been cut in half, with a brightly colored surface, and its pure, simple appearance makes an impression all of its own.
