Birds have a long tradition as Christmas tree decorations. However, this glass figurine literally takes the cake: the well-formed toucan is both exotic and eye-catching. Because it is a rarity in our part of the world - and simply fascinates with its impressive appearance.
So big, so beautiful: the deep black plumage, delicately dusted with dark glitter, forms a wonderfully subtle contrast to the characteristic, enormous beak, which forms a mighty yellow-orange crescent and has the typical black colouring at the tip. The striking white-orange colouring on the head has also been adopted from its natural model, as have the blue eye rims and the bluish-greyish feet. Fitting and fresh: the brown branch on which the proud bird sits has a few lush green leaves that have been carefully decorated with green glitter lines.
