Somehow, he is always surrounded by a whiff of longing. Because the sailor always has the vastness of the ocean before him? Because his journeys are often so long that he often spends several nights, if not weeks, on the road? Because he travels around the world, while we commute between home and work and usually only see the bakery, the market, the church, the lake in between?
The sailor for the Tannenbaum fulfills (almost) all clichés in a loving way. Standing at the wood-brown steering wheel, his golden pipe pushed between his mighty brown beard, he gazes into the vastness of the living room with alert blue eyes. A white and black captain's cap with a glittering golden band and a black anchor symbol above the visor covers his head and shoulder-length hair. The sailor combines his aqua blue trousers with black shoes and a turquoise and silver striped T-shirt. Only the bare, strong arms are without a tattoo, which means that the last cliché in the artistic design has been dispensed with.
